Which sports does Whistlenote work for?
Any sport you coach one-to-one or in groups. Tennis, padel, swimming, football, gymnastics and martial arts are our most common, but sessions, packages and skills are fully configurable. If you can book it and score it, you can run it here.
Do parents need to install the app?
No. Parents get a simple web portal and sign in with a one-time code sent to their phone. They see the package balance, attendance, payments and progress reports. Nothing to download.
Is my data safe? What about GDPR?
Data is hosted in the EU and encrypted in transit. You are the controller of your athletes' data and Whistlenote acts as your processor. We collect parental consent for under-18s, let you export your data at any time, and delete it when you ask. Read the privacy policy for the detail.
Can I import my existing athletes?
Yes. Upload a spreadsheet of athletes and guardians and we match the columns for you. If you are stuck, send us the file and we will help you get set up.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You pick a plan or you stop. Your data stays safe for 30 days after the trial ends, so nothing is lost if you need time to decide. No card is needed to start, so there is nothing to cancel.
Do payments go through Whistlenote to parents?
Not yet. Whistlenote tracks who has paid, who is due and who is overdue, and sends friendly reminders. You keep collecting the way you do now: cash, bank transfer or card reader. Online payments are on our roadmap.
